Camp Jumonville came to visit

We were blessed to have the camp directors come visit us at our 5th Sunday Fellowship Dinner. Jim, Beverly and Heather Gross drove down for the day just to meet with us and share some stories and photos of their beautiful camp. Everyone especially likes the giant cross on the hill that overlooks Uniontown, PA. The photos got some ooohs and aaahs from the audience.

Camp Jumonville offers Christian camping programs that help their campers grown in relationship with Jesus. There are several camps offered for those with Special Needs and their families, including JAM Camp, Discovery Camp and CAT Camp Autism. Terri, at Community with a Cause, has been attending Camp Jumonville for years so you might ask her to tell you more about it. Note that there is also a need for volunteers to help at the special needs camps.

You can go to their webpage for more information on dates of summer camps for next year. Those needing financial assistance for camp should contact Cindy Geller to see what scholarships are available.
